Steal An Egg Wisp — How to Get, Quests & Enchanted Tree
How to get the Wisp in Steal An Egg: reach the Enchanted Forest (Update 7, 50B Speed gate), find the Wisp NPC, complete 3 quests, unlock the Enchanted Tree.
What is the Wisp in Steal An Egg?
The Wisp is the guide NPC added with Update #7, which went live on October 3, 2026. It is a small, floating yellow spirit that waits inside the Enchanted Forest — the new final biome — and it is the entry point for the entire Enchanted Forest content chain. Talk to it, and it starts following you; finish its questline, and it unlocks the Enchanted Tree, the update’s headline reward area.
If you have seen players asking “where is the Wisp” or “why can’t I see the Wisp”, the short answer is almost always the same: the Wisp does not spawn for everyone. It only appears once you meet the highest Speed requirement in the game.
What are the requirements to get the Wisp?
There is exactly one hard requirement: 50B (50 billion) Speed. That is the steepest gate in Steal An Egg — higher than any previous biome — and it is what unlocks both the Enchanted Forest and the Wisp itself. If your Speed is below 50B, the Wisp will not spawn for you at all, and you will not be able to enter the Enchanted Tree later.
If you already have 50B+ Speed but still cannot see the Wisp, work through these three checks before assuming anything is broken:
- Leave and rejoin Steal An Egg. A server that has been running since before Update #7 may not have the Wisp loaded.
- Switch to a different server. Server hopping refreshes the world state and often makes the NPC appear.
- Join a private server. A fresh private server is the most reliable way to get a clean, newly updated instance.
Once the Wisp has spawned for you it is not hidden or secret — if you meet the requirement and still see nothing, the problem is the server, not your save.
Where is the Wisp located?
The Wisp lives in the Enchanted Forest, the last biome on the map, just past the Angels and Demons biome. Travel to the far end of the world and enter the Enchanted Forest.
Inside the biome, look to the right side: the Wisp NPC floats in the air next to the recommended speed board, just before the guard’s location. It reads as a yellow circle with the small Wisp spirit inside. Walk up and interact with it to trigger a short dialogue. When the dialogue finishes, the Wisp starts following your character — that is your signal that the questline is active and you can begin the three Wisp quests.
If the interaction feels buggy and nothing happens, click or tap the Wisp repeatedly; launch-window reports describe the prompt as occasionally unresponsive on busy servers.
What are the three Wisp quests?
The Wisp gives three quests, in order. Rarity and weight never matter — every quest counts any qualifying steal or fuse, so take the easiest targets you can find.
- Steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs. Successfully steal 20 eggs from the Enchanted Forest biome and make it back to the spawn area with them. Any Enchanted Forest egg counts, regardless of rarity or weight. Standard steal rules apply: grabbing an egg triggers the “RUN!” sequence, and if the guardian catches you before you reach safety, that egg is lost and does not count.
- Fuse 20 Enchanted Forest animals. Use the Fuse Machine in the spawn area to fuse 20 animals hatched from Enchanted Forest eggs. Again, rarity and weight do not matter — the machine just needs Enchanted Forest animals. This quest is much easier after Quest 1, because the 20 eggs you stole give you a deep bench of Enchanted Forest pets to feed into the machine.
- Steal any Eternal egg. Steal one Eternal-rarity egg from any biome — it does not have to come from the Enchanted Forest. This is the slowest quest for most players because Eternal spawns are rare; patience and server hopping help more than raw Speed here.
Gameplay footage of the update shows the Wisp visibly growing through stages as you turn quests in, and reaching its final stage alongside the third quest — a handy visual confirmation that you are done.
What is inside the Enchanted Tree?
Completing all three quests and returning to the Wisp unlocks the Enchanted Tree, the interior area that is the real prize of Update #7. Inside the tree you will find:
- A free Butterfly Net — pick it up inside the tree; no purchase required.
- Butterfly Blooms — use the net to farm Butterfly Blooms inside the Enchanted Tree.
- Enchanted Essence — Butterfly Blooms convert into Enchanted Essence, the material that powers the new Enchanted mutation.
In other words, the whole chain — 50B Speed, the Wisp, three quests, the Enchanted Tree — exists to feed the Enchanted mutation grind. The developers have not published exact Enchanted mutation effects or numbers yet; what is confirmed from two independent write-ups is the reward chain itself: Enchanted Tree access, free Butterfly Net, Butterfly Bloom farming, Enchanted Essence.
Steal An Egg Wisp FAQ
Why can’t I see the Wisp in Steal An Egg? Your Speed is below 50B — the Wisp only spawns for players with 50B+ Speed. If you do meet the requirement, rejoin the game, switch servers, or use a private server to force a fresh instance.
Do egg rarity or weight matter for the Wisp quests? No. Both the 20-egg steal and the 20-animal fuse count any Enchanted Forest egg or animal, regardless of rarity or weight. The third quest only asks for any Eternal egg, from any biome.
Is there a Wisp code in Steal An Egg? No. There are no Wisp codes, and Steal An Egg has never had an official code redemption system — the codes status page tracks every check. Anyone selling a “Wisp code” is guessing.
What do I get for finishing all three Wisp quests? Access to the Enchanted Tree, which contains a free Butterfly Net and Butterfly Blooms you farm into Enchanted Essence — the material for the new Enchanted mutation.
