Steal An Egg Kitsune

Steal An Egg Kitsune: Divine Cherry Blossom Pet & Egg

Steal An Egg Kitsune is the Divine pet and guardian of Cherry Blossom. Its recorded income, egg hatch time, pool share — and what is still unconfirmed.

What is Kitsune in Steal An Egg?

Kitsune is the Divine-tier pet of the Cherry Blossom biome — and the same creature is the guardian that patrols it. Cherry Blossom sits beyond Cosmic and is gated behind roughly 2.5 billion Speed just to reach its nests, so most players meet Kitsune as an obstacle long before they meet it as a pet.

Two roles are worth keeping apart:

  • As a guardian, Kitsune is confirmed in this wiki’s own coverage. The Crane page records that below the zone’s recommended Speed it outruns you and that getting caught usually costs you the egg, and it documents the drop-burst return route that works because the guardian does not carry a dropped egg back to its nest.
  • As a pet, Kitsune is only recorded by third-party trackers. This wiki’s pets index still holds Cherry Blossom’s Divine slot as To be confirmed, and the all eggs index carries no Kitsune Egg row, because neither page accepts a name until a displayed name, a biome and a reproducible capture line up.

Everything below reports the tracker record with its source attached. Nothing here is first-party, so treat each number as a lead to check on your own pet screen rather than a settled fact.

What are Kitsune’s recorded stats?

A fan tracker (stealanegg-wiki.com, configuration captured for game build v490 and updated September 11, 2026) records the following. It describes the values as pulled from the game’s pet configuration, not from a live screen.

FigureRecorded valueBasis
RarityDivineSingle tracker [Unconfirmed]
Collection / index slotCherry Blossom, slot 8 of 8Single tracker [Unconfirmed]
Base income$1,800,000,000 per secondSingle tracker [Unconfirmed]
Base model weight260 kgSingle tracker [Unconfirmed]
Egg hatch time14h baseSingle tracker [Unconfirmed]
Egg weight4 kgSingle tracker [Unconfirmed]
Index Speed reward+6,870,240Single tracker [Unconfirmed]

Read the table as a configuration baseline, not a promise about your pet. The tracker itself warns that individual earnings and weight depend on size, mutations and whatever bonuses are active, and that the income figure is a rate rather than a verified trading price. Pet weight and egg weight are separate measurements — the 260 kg model reference and the 4 kg egg are not the same value.

One cross-check is worth noting: a creator starting a fresh account with this pet reported 1.8 billion per second immediately after placing it at their base. Same figure, different kind of source — still a video observation rather than a published stat, so confirm it on the in-game Pet Index before you value anything.

How do you get Kitsune in Steal An Egg?

By hatching it. The tracker lists the source as the Cherry Blossom egg pool: find its egg in that area, carry it back to your base and let it hatch. There is no shop route and no confirmed event that hands the pet out.

The trip is the hard part, and it is documented on this wiki independently of any stat table:

  1. Reach the nests. Cherry Blossom needs roughly 2.5 billion Speed to enter, with 3.5 billion or more recommended to farm it consistently — see the beginner guide for route and Speed priorities.
  2. Survive the guardian. Below the recommendation Kitsune outruns you, and a caught carrier usually loses the egg — the Crane page breaks down the encounter.
  3. Return in bursts if you are under-geared. The guardian does not carry a dropped egg back to its nest, so short pick-up-and-drop hops turn one long dangerous run into several shorter ones. Anyone can grab an egg you leave on the floor, so keep the bat out — the secrets page covers the wall-drop variant.
  4. Hatch at base. The tracker records a 14h base growth time, and later-game eggs routinely run for hours on camera, so plan to hold an incubator slot rather than expecting an instant result.

Large eggs may also demand more Speed than the zone recommendation, which the tracker notes as a general rule rather than a Kitsune-specific figure.

What is Kitsune’s drop chance?

The tracker gives Kitsune a 0.02% share of the Cherry Blossom weighted egg pool, and describes that number precisely: it is the species’ weight divided by the pool total, before separate event rolls, progress adjustments or bonuses. It is a share of a weighted list, not a per-run or per-night guarantee. A 0.02% share tells you the pet is rare relative to the rest of that pool; it does not tell you that you are owed a Kitsune every five thousand attempts.

The same page also flags how loose the vocabulary around this figure is in the wild — one of the videos collected here frames the find in its own title as a “0.01% Divine egg”, which is creator framing rather than a published rate. Two different numbers, both describing “how rare”, neither of them official. The developer has published no Cherry Blossom egg odds, so every percentage you see for this biome is a community estimate.

Can you fuse or mutate Kitsune?

Fusion: the captured configuration does not mark this species CannotFuse, and the tracker’s fuse calculator models three pets of the species as an input. That is evidence the pet is eligible rather than proof of the in-game button, so check eligibility and the current cost before you commit pets to a fuse. [Unconfirmed]

Mutation: mutation is a property of the egg or the pet, not a species trait, so any Kitsune hatch can come out changed. Cherry Blossom eggs can be run through the Sakura Incubator for a Bloom or a much rarer Spirit Bloom outcome, and the older size and mutation rolls stack on top — the mutations guide maps the types and where each one comes from. Because mutations multiply income, a mutated mid-tier pet can out-earn a plain Kitsune, so read the mutation label before the rarity colour. The exact Bloom and Spirit Bloom multipliers are community-reported, not published.

Why does this wiki not list Kitsune as confirmed?

Because one tracker is one source. This wiki applies the same test everywhere: a pet enters the pets index and a named egg enters the all eggs index only when the displayed name, the biome and a reproducible capture — a screenshot or an uncut video sequence showing the game’s own interface — support the record together.

The Kitsune record currently fails on the second half. The configuration capture is detailed and internally consistent, and a creator’s on-camera income matches part of it, but neither is a capture of the game’s Pet Index entry. The moment a readable Pet Index row or a hatch sequence turns up, the Divine slot and the Cherry Blossom egg pool get their row, with the date it was checked. Until then, the best egg page is the right place for value comparisons, because it already separates third-party income claims from source-checked records.

Steal An Egg Kitsune: FAQ

Is Kitsune a pet or a boss in Steal An Egg?

Both. It is the guardian that patrols the Cherry Blossom biome — a role this wiki documents in its zone coverage — and it is the Divine pet recorded as the last slot of that biome’s collection.

How much does Kitsune make per second?

The recorded configuration value is $1,800,000,000 per second, and a creator’s on-camera base income matched it. That is still a third-party figure, so check the money-per-second number the game shows in your own Pet Index. [Unconfirmed]

How long does a Kitsune Egg take to hatch?

The tracker records a 14h base growth time. Size and growth effects can change the time shown on an individual egg, so use the countdown on your own egg rather than the base figure.

Is Kitsune worth buying from a third-party seller?

The seller listing collected here promises a “verified Divine Kitsune” and quotes a market listing benchmark several times higher than the recorded base income. That benchmark is a listing claim, not verified income, and the listing itself states it does not promise a special mutation or an oversized weight unless support confirms it before delivery. Buying pets outside official systems carries account risk, and this wiki does not recommend or link the route.
