What is Red Panda in Steal An Egg?

Red Panda is a Mythic pet listed in the Cherry Blossom collection. Cherry Blossom is the endgame zone that sits beyond Cosmic, and it is the same biome that supplies the Crane used to unlock the Sakura Incubator, so a Red Panda run means the same zone gate and the same guardian problem as every other pet from that pool.

This wiki’s own pets index carries a Red Panda row — Mythic, Cherry Blossom, $450K/s — and a community wiki at stealanegg-wiki.com records the same income figure from a captured v490 game configuration snapshot (the snapshot’s own last update stamp is September 11, 2026; both pages were checked September 24, 2026). Agreement between the two does not make either one first-party: both rest on community configuration data, not on a developer-published stat sheet or a readable Pet Index capture in the collected material. Treat every number below as a baseline to verify on your own pet screen.

What are Red Panda’s recorded stats?

The configuration snapshot records the values in the table below. Each one is a single-source figure, and the tracker itself warns that individual earnings and weight depend on size, mutations and whatever bonuses are active.

Two of these rows are easy to misread. The income figure is a rate, not a trading price — it describes what the pet produces while placed, not what a seller would pay for it. And pet weight and egg weight are separate measurements: the 25 kg model reference and the 2 kg egg are not two readings of the same thing.

For scale, $450K/s puts Red Panda in the same neighbourhood as other mid-tier Zone results and far below the biome’s top end, where the recorded Cosmic and Secret rows climb into the millions per second — the pets index lists that ladder biome by biome. It is a real step up from the Epic and Legendary pets that most players own when they first reach Cherry Blossom, and it is not the pet anyone farms that zone for at the end.

How do you get Red Panda in Steal An Egg?

By hatching one. Red Panda’s egg is listed as the Red Panda Egg, and the recorded source is the Cherry Blossom world’s egg pool: find its egg in that area, carry it back to your base and let it hatch. There is no shop route and no confirmed event that hands the pet out.

The trip is the hard part, and this wiki documents it independently of any stat table:

  1. Reach the nests. Cherry Blossom sits beyond Cosmic and its nests are gated behind roughly 2.5 billion Speed, with 3.5 billion or more recommended for farming it consistently — see the Crane page for the zone gate and the beginner guide for Speed priorities.
  2. Survive the guardian. Below the recommendation the zone’s guardian, the Kitsune, outruns you, and getting caught usually costs you the egg.
  3. Return in bursts if you are under-geared. The guardian does not carry a dropped egg back to its nest, so short pick-up-and-drop hops break one long dangerous run into several shorter ones. Anyone else can grab an egg you leave on the floor, so keep the bat out.
  4. Hatch at base. The recorded base growth time is 8m, and the tracker notes that size and growth effects can change the time remaining, so use the countdown on your own egg rather than the base figure.

The snapshot adds one general warning worth keeping in mind on the way out: large eggs may require more Speed than the zone’s recommendation. That is stated as a rule of thumb for big eggs rather than a Red Panda-specific figure.

What does the 16.83% egg-pool share actually mean?

It is a weighted share, not a guarantee. The tracker describes the number precisely: it is the pet’s recorded weight divided by the total weight of the Cherry Blossom pool, before separate event rolls, progress adjustments or bonuses. It tells you how Red Panda’s slot compares with the rest of that pool — and at 16.83% it is one of the larger shares in the zone, in line with a mid-rarity pet rather than a headline one.

It does not tell you that one run in six produces a Red Panda, and it does not describe a guaranteed spawn or a universal chance per night. Pool shares are computed from recorded weights, and every percentage you see for a Cherry Blossom pet is a community figure: the developer has published no egg odds for the zone.

Can you fuse or mutate Red Panda?

Fusion. The captured configuration does not mark this species CannotFuse, and the tracker’s fuse calculator models three pets of the species as an input. That is evidence the pet is eligible, not proof of the in-game button, so check eligibility and the current cost before committing three pets to a fuse. [Unconfirmed]

Mutation. Mutation is a property of the egg or the pet rather than a species trait, so any Red Panda hatch can come out changed. Cherry Blossom eggs can be run through the Sakura Incubator for a Bloom or a much rarer Spirit Bloom result, and the older Silver, Golden and Rainbow rolls stack on top — the mutations guide maps the types and where each one comes from. Because mutations multiply income, a mutated lower-rarity pet can beat a plain Red Panda, so read the mutation label before the rarity colour.

Is Red Panda the same as the Mutation Consumable?

No, and the two get confused because both touch mutation. The Mutation Consumable is a Boss Shop item costing 400 Boss Tokens that applies the Fractured Mutation to a placed, unhatched egg — it comes from the Rifts boss loop and has nothing to do with Cherry Blossom or with Red Panda. If a Red Panda Egg is the egg you want to modify, the incubator route is the one tied to that zone.

Does the internet trick help you get a Cherry Blossom egg home?

No — and this is worth stating plainly, because the trick keeps circulating. A creator testing viral “infinite money” methods (SkellyPlays, 115,013 views, checked September 24, 2026) tried disabling their connection the moment a guard started chasing, on the theory that the guard would freeze and the egg would be kept. Killing the connection did stop the guard, but it also stopped the run: the game teleported the character back home and the egg was not banked. The creator’s conclusion was that the method fails because it disables your own escape along with the guard’s chase.

The same test found the lever that does work, and it is not a glitch at all: server population. Sorting by fewest players and joining a quiet server meant the other players were parked on treadmills rather than contesting nests, which is exactly the condition a contested Cherry Blossom run needs. That is ordinary map awareness, and it is the same advice the spawn times guide gives for arriving before the rush instead of after it.

The same video also shows why this page refuses to publish a progression shortcut: the creator’s own account started at 20 Speed, took a one-time 10,000 Speed from the new-player chest, and still could not clear a zone listed at 40,000 Speed. Recorded income figures do not shorten the Speed requirement in front of the zone you want.

What is still unconfirmed?

  • Every stat on this page — rarity, income, weights, index reward and pool share all come from one community configuration capture.
  • The 16.83% pool share — a weighted share, not a published drop chance.
  • No official odds exist for Cherry Blossom as a whole; the developer publishes neither per-pet rates nor a complete egg catalog.
  • Fusion eligibility — the configuration does not block it, but the in-game fuse button has not been captured here.
  • Red Panda’s real income on your account — size, mutation and active bonuses change the number the game displays.

Steal An Egg Red Panda: FAQ

Is Red Panda a Mythic pet in Steal An Egg?

That is the recorded rarity. The community configuration snapshot lists it as Mythic in the Cherry Blossom collection, and this wiki’s pets index carries the same rarity and biome. [Unconfirmed]

How much does Red Panda make per second?

The recorded base income is $450,000 per second, matched by this wiki’s pets index. It is a configuration baseline rather than a verified trading price, and the displayed number on your own pet can be higher or lower depending on size, mutations and bonuses.

How long does a Red Panda Egg take to hatch?

The recorded base is 8m. Size and growth effects can change the time remaining, so use the countdown shown on your own egg.

Is Red Panda rare?

Within its own pool it is a mid-tier entry — the snapshot gives it a 16.83% weighted share of Cherry Blossom eggs, one of the larger shares in that zone. Rarity there is relative to a pool that also contains Mythic, Cosmic and Secret pets, and the share is not a guaranteed chance per run.

Is Red Panda the same as the Mutation Consumable?

No. Red Panda is a pet from the Cherry Blossom pool; the Mutation Consumable is a 400 Boss Token Boss Shop item that applies the Fractured Mutation to a placed egg.
