Steal An Egg Best Egg — Highest Income Pets & How to Compare
Best egg in Steal An Egg by income: September 2026 community lists conflict — Unicorn at $1B/s vs Shattered Colossus at $3.5B/s — plus how value works.
What is the best egg in Steal An Egg?
There is no official answer, and the two community lists published in September 2026 do not agree on the top spot. A timesaver.gg value list (dated to Roblox data of September 4, 2026) names Unicorn (Divine) at $1B per second as the highest-income pet in the game — more than the whole Eternal tier below it combined. An eldorado.gg all-pets index instead names Shattered Colossus (Divine) at $3.5B per second as the best.
The two sources use different collection methods and different data cuts, so this page presents both rather than picking one. The only figure that settles the argument is the one on your own screen: check the money-per-second number the game shows in the Pet Index before you value any pet or trade for it.
Why does “best” mean money per second and not rarity color?
The developer has never shipped an official value list. What the game does publish is a visible income number: every hatched pet earns money per second while placed at your base, and the in-game Pet Index shows that figure for each pet you have seen. Everything else — what a pet is “worth” — is community consensus that shifts with every weekly patch.
Rarity still exists: the ladder runs Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Cosmic, Secret, Eternal and Divine, across roughly 105 pets spread over the game’s biomes, plus Robux shop exclusives. But rarity and income are not the same axis. Two pets of the same rarity can have very different payouts, and occasionally a lower-rarity pet out-earns a higher one. A rarity color tells you how rare a hatch is; the index number tells you what it makes. Trust the number.
The income loop explains why the top of the ladder matters so much: you steal an egg, hatch it, and the pet produces income permanently, which funds the Speed training that unlocks richer biomes, and Rebirths multiply everything. Each egg batch resets every five minutes, and rare eggs are broadcast to the server — see the spawn times guide for the cycle and route planning.
For source-checked names, rarities and incomes, the pets index holds the wiki’s verified per-biome records, and the all eggs index lists named eggs with stricter hatch verification.
Top income tiers — September 2026 community figures
The numbers below come from third-party tier lists, not from the developer. All are labeled with their source and dated September 2026 (timesaver cites a September 4, 2026 data pull). Treat every row as a community estimate and confirm it on the in-game Pet Index before acting on it — this wiki’s own source-checked index has recorded values that disagree with third-party lists (see the Tralaledon note below the table).
| Pet | Rarity | Income per second (Sept 2026) | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unicorn | Divine | $1B | timesaver — #1 overall claim |
| Shattered Colossus | Divine | $3.5B | eldorado.gg — #1 overall claim (conflicts with timesaver) |
| Eternal Lunar Dragon | Eternal | $250M | timesaver |
| Mosasaurus | Eternal | $180M | timesaver |
| El Maja | Eternal | $130M | timesaver |
| Lava Dragon | Eternal | $100M | timesaver |
| Phoenix | Eternal | $85M | timesaver |
| Ice Dragon | Eternal | $65M | timesaver |
| Cosmic Dragon | Secret | $60M | timesaver |
| Cosmic Skeleton Boss | Secret | $45M | timesaver |
| Tralaledon | Secret | $32M | timesaver |
| T-Rex | Secret | $25M | timesaver |
Kraken rounds out the same Secret tier at $15M per second. The table also shows why row labels matter: Tralaledon is listed at $32M/s on the timesaver list, while this wiki’s all eggs index separately recorded an observed $57.6M per second result for it. Disagreement between sources is normal at this level of the game — the live Pet Index is the referee.
How should you pick a target?
Value is income divided by access difficulty. A $1B pet is worthless to you if you cannot reach its biome or survive the return trip. Cosmic-area eggs demand millions of Speed, and the endgame Cherry Blossom biome needs roughly 2.5 billion Speed just to reach its nests, with 3.5 billion or more recommended to escape its guardian consistently. A Secret egg that spawns in a late biome is scarce precisely because few players can farm there, so its trade value runs far above a Forest Epic with similar income — supply, not just income, drives what collectors pay, and that premium changes weekly.
Two modifiers complicate the raw number. Mutations stack on top of rarity: Bloom and Spirit Bloom outcomes from the Sakura Incubator multiply a pet’s income (community-reported multipliers, unconfirmed by the developer — see the pets index). And size or other traits can change an individual pet’s output. When comparing two pets, check mutation labels first, then income, then how consistently you can actually steal that egg.
For a new player the best target is rarely the top row. Consistent income from a biome you can farm safely beats a contested top-tier egg you lose on the way home — the beginner guide covers planning the return line before you commit to a pickup.
Why do “best egg” searches keep hitting script sites?
Because the game rewards knowing what is valuable right now, and automation hubs market exactly that: script tools such as Lennon Hub advertise a live “Best Egg” board that ranks the most valuable eggs on the map by cash value and teleports you to your pick. That is why a search like “best egg in steal an egg” surfaces script sites — the feature set matches the question. It does not make the scripts a good answer. Running them requires third-party executors, and the visible behaviors they add (instant teleports, hands-free stealing) are exactly what draws reports in a small server; the hubs also route through ad-gated key pages and remote delivery hosts whose content can change at any time. Real risks follow: account bans under Roblox rules, and scammers posing as script sellers who fish for credentials on Discord. This wiki never publishes scripts, and a predictor page explains why no tool can legitimately guarantee spawns or hatch outcomes. If you want the edge the hubs sell, the durable version is route practice and speed training — the spawn times guide and the beginner guide cover both.
